1. Where can I buy Guobiao (GB) Standards, UL Standards and others not available for purchase from the Quality Services Division of the Innovation and Technical Commission?
In general, standards can be procured from their respective standards publishers. Most standards publishers operate webstores for online sales of standards and related publications. To name a few:
- GB Standards – Standards Press of China
- UL Standards – UL Standards
- NIST, SAE etc Standards – ANSI
- IEEE Standards – IEEE Standards Association
- Australian Standards – Standards Australia webstore
2. Would the Quality Services Division of the Innovation and Technical Commission accept purchase orders of ISO standards from outside Hong Kong?
You should approach ISO member in your country for the purchase. In case there is no ISO member in your country, you should approach ISO Store to make the purchase.
3. Would the Quality Services Division of the Innovation and Technical Commission bid tenders for supply of standards?
The Division offers quotations for purchase of standards but would not bid any tenders.
