Seminar on Research and Development of Chinese Medicines 2017

A one-day seminar on research and development (R&D) of Chinese Medicines organised by the Committee on Research and Development of Chinese Medicines in conjunction with the Department of Health, Hospital Authority and Hong Kong Council for Testing and Certification will be held on 12 September 2017.

The seminar will cover a wide range of important topics related to Chinese medicine, such as the enforcement of 'The Law of the People's Republic of China on Traditional Chinese Medicine' and the opportunities for the future development of the Chinese medicines industry, Herbgenomics: the development and future of TCM omics, pharmacological evaluation of Kampo medicines for the treatment of neural and immunological diseases, development of the Government Chinese Medicines Testing Institute, neuroprotection of Chinese medicines and the underlying mechanisms as well as the developing medicines for Alzheimer's disease treatment-retrospect and prospect.
