The 8th Hong Kong Logistics Forum explores how innovative technology is transforming the future of the logistics industry
Big data analytics, intelligent logistics solutions and the Internet of Things are considered to be the key factors in enhancing efficiency in the logistics industry. Organised by the Hong Kong Logistics Association and supported by Hong Kong R&D Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management Enabling Technologies (LSCM), the 8th Hong Kong Logistics Forum held on December 14 at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University was attended by over 200 participants.
With the theme of "Innovative Technology for Smart Logistics", the Forum invited industry experts and professionals to discuss the best smart logistics approach and technology and how these can help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and large enterprises simplify, stabilise and readjust their supply chain management, and ultimately transform their businesses. Mr Anthony Kwok, Director of Business Development from LSCM was invited to be the moderator of the panel discussion to further explore the impact of technology on the development for the logistics industry.
